As a solo traveler, I enjoyed a serene night enveloped by the beauty of coastal Clifden. The warm bar area, complemented by a crackling log fire, created a cozy atmosphere. Don't miss the seafood chowder. it's a must-try! For breakfast, consider opting for local cafes for a more flavorful start.

I was appalled at the lack of water pressure in the shower during my stay. One moment the water was scalding hot, then it went ice cold—impossible to get a decent shower in the morning! Added to this, the receptionist's dismissive attitude while handling my checkout was intolerable. he showed no interest in a guest’s experience despite my frustration. This was not what I expected from a hotel that charges premium rates.

The breathtaking views from the dining room and cozy lounge space made relaxation easy , enhancing our overall experience while enjoying delightful breakfasts and comfortable seating by the fire.

i was quite displeased with my stay, the shower water fluctuated from boiling hot to freezing cold, aboslutely unacceptable! even worse, the dining was lacking freshness, certainly not what i expected for such a high price. i should have received a complimentary upgrade for all my trouble but no one seemed to care enough to even offer. what a letdown.
